my name is karena tsai — the creator behind type k studio.

i am a stationery & print designer and zine-maker based out of dallas, texas. i write from the heart, and i create with my hands. i am inspired by words, spaces, colors, sounds, and feelings that surround me. my art style is playful and experiential, sometimes emotional and raw.

i believe that life can be experienced by way of reading books, and i'm probably thinking about food, i support women of color and other traditionally marginalized voices, first and foremost.
