my love of art and design sparked from learning and practicing hand-lettering many years ago. hand-lettering differs from digital typography and traditional calligraphy in that each letter is individually illustrated by hand. using different mediums, i hand-painted various types of signage for small businesses in my community. when i entered the print industry, i expanded my knowledge and created even more by utilizing large format printers and cutting tools and experimenting with different sign materials. whatever the application, whichever the production method, i love seeing great sign designs in the wild!
